You don't need them, that was what the devs said had to go into the file for the criteria of being included with "Mods Off". Of course you need the JPEG so you can see it in the Hangar area, that should go in Rise of flight/data/swf/planes/Airco D.H.2 (but you knew that already as stated above)

It is long winded and a pain to get all the translations done, I've just received the Spanish and Russian versions so now I have to add them to the text file and upload them again.
