Talk about a great feeling, Shogun: Total war is here in its original packing complete with that whopping great manual it had... won't ever play it agaion but for some weird reason I can't get myself to throw the old bugger out... Really looking forward to Shogun 2.

Dude, I bet you would get a really great offer for it on Ebay. Seriously!

I also have all of this stuff for Shogun as well as all the TW games and their expansions---plus all the strat guides published just to be complete. I am actually currently playing a Shimazu campaign in Shogun just to get in the mood again. Both Shogun and the 1st Medieval have problems with any Nvidia GPU after about the 7000 series, but I have an older single core legacy PC that will only accept an AGP based graphics card, so I can only run a G7600 GPU. Of course it doesn't have the eye candy of the newer games, but it is still fun, and the Van Dyke music/soundtrack perfectly sets the mood.

Cheers

Only thing that impresses me is a good AI. All that eye candy is crap if the AI is retarded, like it has been in most of the previous Total War games.
