I churned out that last fix I promised.

This one is meant to fix assorted graphical problems, missing/corrupted textures, and sound looping. It also includes working Zeckensack & dgVoodoo wrappers. It's very untested and I won't be able to update it since LB is uninstalled and boxed - so keep the old one handy if it doesn't work out.

Of course, as far as cockpit problems are concerned, running at the default res of 640 x 480 will cure the lines and possibly other issues.

Cheers!

FYI, I ran your fix and noticed a couple of things. First, when it prompted for "press any key" to remove the first fix and I did that, it comes up with an error that it couldn't find a particular file (I had NOT removed the firts fix prior to this btw). But it prompted to "press any key" again and I did, and it says it removed the first fix. then it prompted to "press any key" for putting in bthis new fix which it did. But then when go to start LB2, it immediately says "LB2 not working" each time.
I have a VISTA 32 Bit desktop dual core 2.8Ghz desktop. If I uninstall the NEW fix, and install the FIRST fix you did, it works again, although still have random ctds upon certain mission completions etc.

i've been trying to write a two-sentence reply for this for 3 days and kept getting too distracted to hit the send button...

i'm busy out of town currently but when i return i'll fix the batch file. ACT shims are sensitive to architecture so i cant guarantee it will work on your x86, it worked on x64 that's all i can vouch for.

its pretty untested compared to the last one, so it was more a less a shot in the dark. best to stick with the previous one if it causes problems. ya fix one thing, ya break something else i guess

Hi Phoenix, I've now added this last fix to my site at the same location as the others.

I think I speak on behalf of all here when I say a big THANK YOU for all you efforts in this particular branch of LB2!

Have a pint on me! wink
