Does this sim support Logitech's G940?

I'm not sure how much sense a jet fighter controller ensemble makes in a tank environment, but SB Pro accepts any joystick input that is recognized as the "preferred device" by Windows (only two axis controller though). I bet that the G940 is programmable, so I bet that it is easy to configure for SB Pro.

Would be kinda fun to control the tracks separately with the 2 throttle axes and drive it that way. Placing the throttle between the knees for that extra bit of realism?

I was more thinking about the stick to aim. What do you guys tend to use to aim?

Hardly any current AFV still uses steering levers, except maybe the M113.

Anyway... Mouse or stick, it's a matter of taste, really. A joystick isn't needed, but can be more convenient for certain modern vehicles that have many functions on the control sticks, especially those like CV90/40, CV90/35 with their programmable munitions - also remote weapon stations.

Mouse control is said to be more precise and easier to aim with, joysticks are said to be faster in some situations.

IMO, if you have a stick, try it. You you don't have one, don't worry.

Well I happen to own a G940 but for Steel Beasts I prefer the old CH Yoke. I guess it's the gadget that works most like a real Panzer-Input-Device.
Having to hands to guide the aim sideways really helps. And there's a bunch of buttons you can reach easy.
So a Yoke is my bet on a cheap(?) input device.

I'm using my Fighterstick Pro to aim with and having no issues responses are sharp, only gripe is with the stick itself when passing the centerposition, hopefully that would change when I get my palms on the TM Hotas Warthog, the cool thing is that you can program a lot of keystrikes to the stick, but again it is down to individual taste, I can understand those that prefer mouse input.
