I went off into the gravel a couple of times in practice and went straight into the wall, it sucks you right in. When I went off I was like :/// but was just going slow enough to avoid it smile

Funny you say that, for some reason the sounds were messed up on me during that race. The other cars were quieter (I have all sounds turned down so I can hear TeamSpeak comms) and my car was full volume. I could barely hear the TS announcement about the restart.

Then during replay and vid capture it was doing the same thing.

I will likely to a 'game sound only' vid sometime. It's hard to pick the music often...

Cheers!

I think the mod has audio issues with the cars. Very unevenly sampled. Their promo of the next version -- where each car has its own unique sound -- looks like they recognize it.

Super job as always MojoFlow on the vid. I still can't figure out how you're using the stock camera to get those angles.

Portugal should be interesting, the brake markers are very hard to see here and the sand feels like a slip and slide.I think there might be big magnets in the walls. :Þ

I'm back so I'll be in for Estoril. As Damon is already taken I'll take:

Jon Clinton / Ayrton Senna / #8 / McLaren-Ford

but only if Ron coughs up enough cash thumbsup

Doug: could you send me the link please - will need some practice. Thanks

Jon

Mid 1:18's is best so far but I need easily another 50 laps of practice to learn the timing on this track. If you screw up, this place makes you pay, sometimes dearly. Doug, Any issues with changing cars this week?, would like to run the #26 Ligier.

Doing 1:16s-17s albeit with soft tires and not that much fuel on board. I've only just fired it up now - great mod, good choice thumbsup Hard to believe we've not had more takers.

There's a huge difference in handling with race fuel vs Q fuel. On my set the only changes I made were gearing and wings but I'm finding my LF tire (Med) is getting severely abused and wearing considerably after even just a few laps. I'm sure part of that is me over driving it but is there anything I could change to improve that vs just slowing down and falling off pace even more. I guess I could try the hards but it seems very disproportional at present.
