Introduction

For those that want a no-holds-barred, hardcore short F1 race series, here is the "No Excuses" F1 series.
Four races to test your driving skills, strategy and patience. The series is based-on the F1SR 1993 LE Formula 1 add-on.

Date: Saturday, 17 July
Time: 1700 GMT / 1 PM Eastern US Time
Race Length: 1 hour

Track: Portugal
Date: Saturday, 24 July
Time: 1700 GMT / 1 PM Eastern US Time
Race Length: 1 hour

Sim: rFactor 1.255
Select any car
Open Setups
In-game track start time: 1 PM
Fuel Setting: 1x
Tire Wear Setting: 1x
Driving Aids: Clutch, Traction Control, Anti-lock Brakes (to simulate ABS)
Damage Multiplier: 100%
Time Compression: none
Unique Vehicle Check: On
Flag Rules: Full flags; blue flags display but no penalties
Start type: Standing with a formation lap
Drivers need to come to a complete stop to ESC
Spectators allowed, but no in game chat available
Drivers can advance the server to the next session during practice
No virtual mirrors available
Driving views available: cockpit or nosecam
One restart permitted (unless 50% of the field crashes during the first lap)
Comms: SimHQ TeamSpeak monitoring required; microphone optional
No Parc Ferme

Series Rules Addition

All drivers must maintain at least 2 wheels on the track at all times. If you get crossed-up or have to avoid an incident, NP. But if its a frequent or repetitive line you're taking that sends all four wheels off track, you will be warned on the first offense; you will be given a stop and go as the second offense; the third offense will forced retirement of your car from the event. (added July 4, 2010)

Set your upload/download speed to 256/256 (accessible in rFactor's Connect > Settings menu)
The server is available for practice now 24/7.

Hey - I raced these in another league a couple of months ago - great fun (but not too serious - at least in my case! ).

Had to take the Barrichello car in that - it's a good car, Mojo - but this time around I fancy the other Williams, please - Alain Prost #2 - and pretend it's a Mansell Motor
