Funny, I was half way through a response in the comic book thread before deleting it only for you to bring it up here too. I imagine that a comic book for a comic-book's sake is pretty hard to do these days, but doing it online is far more common. Rolling those off into books, as opposed to smaller comic books, seems to be the way to go for some though.

I stepped on a scorpion last night, he was right under the arch of my right foot. Luckily, he was unable to strike. I was kind of shuffling my feet, and my next step kind of "slid" him forward across the tile floor. I thought it was a piece of plastic, and was going to turn back and pick it up... only to see him running away and hiding under a shoe.
They are a rarity here, at least in my house. Have only seen one other indoors during 10+ years.
I had taken delivery of 4 small packages earlier in the day... I'm wondering if he hitched a ride in them.

Scorpions can get in through the tiniest crack or hole in the outside walls, windows, or doors. Has there been any excavations in the area lately? That can stir them up.

So I've now watched 10 epsiodes of ST: The Next Generation and I like it even though sometimes it can get a bit cheesy with the acting and the over-sentimentality. The best characters so far IMHO are Picard and Data. The lamest are definitely Dr. Crusher and Wesley. Ugh.

I have watched a few episodes of that, and they were hit or miss as I recall. I hated the episodes with that "Q" guy.

I hated the episodes with that "Q" guy. I like them but I can easily see why some other people dont. Q is very much a theatrical "in your face" character.
