Hi John,

Some very interesting and useful files - a few glitches as a couple were apparently not out of copyright and have been withdrawn, and one or two are either corrupted or in a format I can't actually open,but keep them coming. Pity whoever uploaded Der Adler did not bother to stitch them together into book format - having to unzip each page is a pain, or is that just the early ones?

I don't know Peter.

As far as I know they are all out of copyright, but that does not mean a server will remove a link. There are a lot of happy soles who report links, just to get them removed. If you let me know which ones are dead or corrupt, I can always check for another link.

If you want to get the Jpeg images converted into PDF format, there are plenty of free PDF printer programs. I use PrimoPDF, which is freeware:

Of those I have looked at to date, "Japanese Ground and Air Forces 1943" and Vol 1 of "Railway Artillery - A report on the characteristics , scope of utility etc of Railway Artillery Miller 1921" are both withdrawn. Several others are proving impossible to open - I will continue to check and let you know if I can't fix them.
