Im using W7 64bit and I only have those choices too but my X52 PRO works great. I can't change button settings though, well nowhere that I can see anyway.

Is the layout ok? I didn't even try it. You can map most controls on there pretty well. I did a mix of the Saitek app and some in the config.

This helps, find the EOC key binder:
A little easier than the text file. Had it up next to my saitek profiler, made references a lot faster to map.

They posted a work around. Seems to be just an nvidia issue, so ati users should be clear.

http://www.gog.com/en/support/independen...NVidia_graphics

Quote:
Graphical glitches on Windows 7 with NVidia graphics
Solution

If you're experiencing this problem, enter the game's Options from the main menu and go to Graphics.
Turn the Shaders slider to the lowest setting. You only need to do this once, but...

If the visual problems reappear after a few minutes of play, you will need to do the following every time you launch the game:
Go to the Graphics options through the main menu, click Resolution, switch to any resolution with a 16-bit color depth (for instance 1024x768x16 or 1440x900x16) and then switch back to the desired resolution with a 32-bit color depth (like 1024x768x32 or 1440x900x32).

The game should work without problems now, so long as you switch resolutions to 16-bit and 32-bit every time you launch

It's not idea, but not a big deal either. Tried it and it worked fine for me at 1920x1080 after switching back and forth. Shader is down.

What does that sort out? I have an ATI card not Nvidia.

Mace, it just turns to crap. LOL
Stutters, all kinds of graphical...it's just weird.
I just played for about 30 minutes. Had a little screw up in a cutscene, but nothing bad. The game is running smooth. I wish I had a keyboard layout cheat sheet, I still don't have my X52 set up quite right. Missing the LDS drive key somewhere.

Am I the only one that wishes Saitek had just left that friggin slider OFF entirely? Screws things up all the time. I think I disabled it now, but it was splitting the throttle with the actual throttle at first.

Hmm, the screenshot sure looks nice.
I still need to get back to X3:TC and Evochron. Again.
I always get sidetracked right after finally getting the controls down.
