After new member 'Victor1_9er' posted some problems he was having with LB2, I decided I wanted a slice of the action again, so I went and reinstalled LB2. Here's my method:
1) Install LB2 from ISO images.
2) Install my LB2 Windows Vista/7 Fix (and setup lb2cfg.exe).
3) Install Phoenix's LB2 Final Solutions
4) Install and setup dgVoodoo 1.50 Beta2.
5) Run the game!
I think the thing that clinched it for me this time was Phoenix's LB2 Final Solutions, I'd never tried it before, until now. Thanks Phoenix!
I did three missions without a single crash! I must admit, the sim did feel a bit alien to me as I haven't played it in such a while, and I've also been playing Comanche Gold recently and that is a whole different ball game.
But with the new 2D cockpit bug (see other post), having to use the limited-functionality 3D cockpit view, having to remap keys after every mission and useless yaw - I don't think I'll be getting my feet under the table like I used to.
My Specs:
2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
4Gb RAM
512Mb ATi Radeon HD3670
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
DirectX 11
