Congratulations Jason on the aquisition of Rise of Flight. I can't think of better hands that it could be in.
I'm very thankful to Neoqb for picking up the Gennadich team and taking the game this far. Especially as they are a large company with many other interests, and that flight sims are hardly critical to them. All things considered though, they seemed to do very well in giving GT and RoF their first leg up in the industry. I reckon they deserve a pat on the back for that.
Now though, RoF's future seems so much the better. Being owned by someone who believes so passionately in the cause will be great for all of us and no doubt a huge boost to the development team as well. I've really appreciated all the efforts you've put into the title so far. Your presence on the boards has been especially great. Kind of like old-testament Oleg
Your habit of keeping players in the loop with regards to development issues and future releases is such a rarity in this hobby, and all the more precious because of it.
I'm proud to have owned Rise of Flight right from the start. I'm also proud to be able to support it further with ongoing releases. In such a niche hobby, we all have a vested interest in seeing RoF succeed. It makes it much more personal. More than anything it really feels like
my sim. I guess a lot of people here feel this way.
So all the best to you Jason. I hope the arrangment is a huge benefit to you both. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Rise of Flight. In the meantime, I'll enjoy reading some of the more bizarre interpretations of these events that some people are posting.
