If everything's under control, you're not going fast enough.

Sorry to be scarce this past week. Sitting in an LA hotel room catching-up after E3 tour of duty.
a) Jon's latest setups are on the server. Thanks Jon!!! Sorry for the delay in applying them.
b) the format for the practice race will be: Saturday, June 19, 1700 GMT 15 minutes practice 10 minutes qualifying 30 minute race
c) I am planning to be on the server but will not be "in-game". The Internet connection here is a bit flaky so if I'm not there please understand why and I'll check in soon as I can.
Thanks everyone!

"With the work of Ahmad (thanks!), we can now increase the entries to 42. We are currently at 36 entries." (edited June 19th) 40! We want 40 entries!

Enjoyed watching the highlights of the British GTs around here last week - unfortunately coverage wasn't detailed enough to pick up any tips, though. Same old same old = Ferrari v Porsche Porsche won that battle. Lambo won the race. http://www.britishgt.com/JonnyD
I say it as I see it

Good racing with Maarten just now, the 2.5 race next week should be fun I was trying to save fuel for the last 2 laps but somehow got away with it. Sorry to Piotr (I think), I got a bit carried away racing Maarten and nearly took you out at Les Combes.

no problem, Col
it was only a test race, and I actually wanted to encounter quick GT1s engaded in battle to check where P2 has it safest to pass
so it was very handy simulation of what can happen in real race, I realised on braking that you will not make the corner and went straight myself to avoid collision :-)

Sorry, purolator if I wasn't clear. Since the practice race starts at 1300GMT, and we had qualified, that the warmup could be the pit stall test. Unfortunately Warm Up wasn't long enough. I figured we'd test the pit stalls on lap 1 of the race, but was surprised when you reset the weekend.
As it was, with 13 or 11 cars, there was no way to test the pit stalls. That's not even 50% of the cars entered in the race. But we did get some practice racing in traffic, which was very helpful for me.
My apologies for the brain-fart, as I forgot I had cold brakes and spun under braking. Luckily I only did a little damage and was able to keep pace. Hope I didn't cause any big pile ups.
Looking forward to next weekend's race.
