any links for patches and such?Im just gettin back into flight sims again,does the multiplayer work?

Actually just go to yuplay and get the 8 patches (I think one of them is sorta misnamed but its pretty straightforward to figure it out).

It takes a while, but its worth it. I really don't like the way they did the patches, but boy is this one beautiful sim/game. The terrains are amazing and the planes also look great, The sicily terrain actually looks like sicily, just amazing, photo quality, and you get a real sense of speed.

You have to download the "downloaders" as they say, then download the patches installing in order.

Multiplayer is a great time, I'm finding myself playing almost every day, it just needs more people joining up.

They announced a sequel, that hopefully will have a mission editor and better single player play. Its not bad, just a bit limited.

This game badly needs add-ons, but I think the architecture is not quite "open".

Still, the best looking sim I have EVER played.

I also ordered WoP boxed but i realized i had made a mistake.
I canceled the order and instead downloaded the games latest
1.0.3.2 version from YuPlay. Too many reports of bad patching
on the game forum. This way i can create a file and copy the key
on every computer i own for backup.

Also i did a lot of research, stay away from Logitech G940, it is crapware, look on ebay at the number of refurbs being sold on a stick that has only been out for 6 months. Instead i got the Saitek X52Pro with Pro Pedals and TrackIR5/Pro.

Each installation requires activation online. I think you get 5(?) activations before you need to email them to give you more. Otherwise, when you need to uninstall you deactivate with a tool in the game directory.

No doubt the best looking sim so far..Unfortunatley thats all it has going for it at the moment which is a great pity.

They really missed the boat on this one and I suspect the sequel will be just as console simplified with a simple mission editor that allows you to throw in a few more elements than the Dogfight option currently does..

*Knocking on wood* I love my G940 it is fantastic and this WOP is one of the best to play it with!
