Thanks for the reply. Avatar, the application works totally separately from the game. You can enter what you want, it's ap to you. I understand that. What did I type that gave you the impression I didn't? (Trying not to repeat the same error here) Ddin't you delete the mission before trying to write a combat report? I'm supposed to delete the mission I just flew before entering in the data/info into the combat report? If so, I didn't know that. But this is the 3rd mission I have and haven't deleted one of them yet and have all 3 missions in my missions' folder still to choose from. Is there some instruction somewhere that I just haven't found that outlines the exact steps needed in order to have this work correctly? I've read the first post and scanned through the thread a little bit but haven't found anything for dunces such as myself. I thought I had it right initially but obviously I don't. Thanks again.

Reflected: Proper skin integration is what I am working on now. It is next.
Avatar: The error occurs when the RoFCampaign mission description file (not to be confused with any of the RoF files) is not there. ROFCampaign creates the mission description file when you create a mission. It is deleted when you enter mission results.
1. Maybe you already flew that mission and entered the results ... or accidentally entered results without flying the mission. 2. The file got deleted some other way.
Workaround: Create a mission but don't fly it. Enter results for the mission that you just flew. Create another mission to fly.

I'm really appreciating the hard work you've put into this! 1. Maybe you already flew that mission and entered the results ... or accidentally entered results without flying the mission. Nope, though I did start to fly it and had to exist out before finishing as I had unexpected company one night and thus ended prematurely. But I definitely didn't enter in any data. 2. The file got deleted some other way. I guess that's it but I'm clueless as to how! Workaround: Create a mission but don't fly it. Enter results for the mission that you just flew. Create another mission to fly. I figured that out all by myself! Except I didn't realize that I need to create another one. I started to fly the next mission that I created after entering in the data (I noticed that it had the same date as the one I couldn't enter data into) but had to exit early as lunch time was over and I had to go back to work (I have a home office so I get to "cheat" this way ). So I'll create another mission then. Thanks for enlightening me!! S!

When 56 sqn is at Estrée Blanche there are no Central squads assigned to that region Also, Bertangle is flat too.

Pat, just like to chime in here and express my thanks for creating an opportunity to create a truly random campaign, something that should have existed in the game in the first place.
Perhaps neoqb will get a clue and incorporate one into the game but I doubt it.
I've only flown 2 ROF Campaign missions but I thought I'd relate a couple experiences.
1. First mission I flew for Jasta 5 (my favorite jasta) and my plane was spawned in front of a tent.
Managed to somehow squeeze between 2 buildings but damaged my left wing. After taking off Realized that none of my squad mates made it up, they were all stuck behind buildings..no reverse...aaargh....Switched to Jasta 12 for my next mission.
2. Second mission I never could quite catch my squad mates, they flew full bore and went to an insane altitude, is there any way to prevent these extreme high alt. flights?
3. From my limited readings of this thread, am I correct in assuming that just copying the skin packs into the corect folders is not enough to get the skins showing up in the missions? If not, do I have to manually rename the ones I want to "default" or something?
Why oh why didnt neoqb incorporate a "zap" feature like CFS2 did, allowing you to go straight to the next conflict with enemy planes. I'm sure not gonna upgrade again to get 8X time compression to = 8X. Already upgraded just so I could play the freakin game.
I'm hoping this add-on or another one will become something similar to "Uberquick mission builder" for IL-2, if you haven't tried that, it truly is an amazing bit of code that makes great Random missions for that sim.
Thanks again for your work, I'm really hoping for some variability and surprises would be so cool to find enemies just a few miles from the home base.

Hello Patrick (or anyone). I've recently downloaded the RoF Campaign and tried to get it to work, but have failed so far. I'm sure I'm missing something really simple but...help would be appreciated!
So first I unpacked the zip file into my RoF directory (to where it overwrites some things and creates a "Campaigns" folder). Then I run the RoFCampaign file, click on "Create New", chose my country, and go to the next screen. There I give the campaign a name ("Fran" in this case), leave the "region" space blank because I have no idea what that means, choose my date, rank, and squadron.
I then click Create, but get an error message saying: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rise of Flight\campaigns\Fran.campaign (Access is denied). This is as far as I get...so what am I doing wrong?

Phoonzang, i think win7 & vista restrict write access to certain folders & c:\program files (x86) may be one of them. i created a c:\games folder & install all of my games in it & haven't had any problems yet.

Alternatively, you'll have to run RoF with administrator privileges.

Hmm...it makes sense that administrator privileges would be the problem. Thanks for the help!
