We made a visit to Arlington back in early April. It's a place that gives one a lot to think about, and this particular shot was filled with symbolism.

The crack through the memorial from the weight of souls resting there.
The dark tangle of trees reflecting the conflicts where men fought and died.
The young and old soldiers serving together and, having remembered those that went before, getting on with their duties.
