Ya, I feel like posting worthless, unimportant info right now about me, that no one really cares about. lol

Right now life is good... My kids are getting great grades and staying out of trouble finally. The 17 year old has never been any trouble, but the 15 year old is a wild one... BTW she's gay now, (I don't really believe she is, just likes the attention it brings her), she's got a girlfriend (but not sexually active, she says), I was pissed when I first heard about this, but then my beautiful wife opened my eyes. She said let it go, she'll grow out of it, besides she spending all her time with her not with her pothead friends anymore, and she can't get pregnant. one less major thing we have to worry about. lol

I'm on my shift now, started at 8. Temp is mid-70's, nice gulf breeze, no oil yet... full moon that looks close and beautiful tonight.

Very few calls for service, as a young cop that would suck... we want action, but a older and fatter magnum likes the slow nights now.

Iron Maiden, "The Killer" is playing on the satellite radio... what a great and classic song.... ooh now some Rush...

I'll get off of work at 4, sleep till 8... get up have my coffee, go for my "lose some of this weight already" 5 mile walk/jog/run... come back, eat my bran flakes for regularity, don't laugh... you'll be near 50 one day too, lol...

Then will jump between my two current obsessions... will race on my PC in iRacing, working on that D license, move over to the Xbox360 for some red dead redemption action, back and forth till the wife comes home at 5, supper then work again... repeat.

yep, life is good... and E3 with SEVEN, yep 7 members of the SimHQ staff, in two weeks.
wink

Glad you're happy.
Bran flakes? Not for me. Great to be regular, but not so great to be unstoppable wink

Glad you're having a good night. I saw that moon rise here, orange against a deep blue sky. Incredible contrast.

Enjoy!

Good for you Magnum! I'm also in a good spot at the moment, I'm currently unemployed, but that's probably why. You guys get warm weather all year round in FL, but it's just now feelin' like summer here outside of Detroit, which I find myself lookin' forward to more and more as I get older. I'm goin' back to the zoo tomorrow, which will be the 6th time already this season, and I'm gonna take it easy all weekend before I start to look for another job. Retirement at 33 sounds pretty good right now...

I love boring.

I worked as a bush pilot (Cessna 206) for 3 years, remote NT Australia, living in aboriginal communities (never felt unsafe BTW) dealing with smoke season and then cyclone season.

Now work behind a desk and computer.

Get home every evening.

I love boring.

Yeah..I watched that orange moon come up tonight. Beautiful. Glad you are having a nice night down on the coast there Mag. I'm guessing the weekend might be crazy with the holiday and all. It's funny because my wife said the same thing tonight as we took our customary walk around the neighborhood tonight: "..sure seems quiet..almost like the world ended or something.." Indeed it was.

Enjoy!

Are you competing with BeachAV8R for the Superfluous Information Championship Magnum?

PS.
Lesbians are awesome.

PSS.
Your choice in music is awesome. Bruce Dickinson (pilot) rules and it looks like the next Rush album might be a winner.

PSSS.
Eating fibre like bran flakes or whatever at our age is almost like taking viagra (the pooing is almost as good as sex wink ).

PSSS.
I don't like you taking health and happiness for granted and calling it "boring".

Life is good smile Being dead would probably be the opposite.

Kind of sounds like my night. Went to a bike stunt show, then parked on the Strip, and lastly went to Town Center to park again. Very exciting night on the bike. Good news, there were no tickets written this time, lol.

I turn 50 in October and I have to agree that boring is good. Getting into a routine and the kids staying out of trouble is a great thing. My life is quiet now too.

I remember seeing a movie that I can't recall the name of. In one part, Morgan Freeman lists ten things that he loves. Near the top is a good bowel movement. I have to agree with him on that one.

Glad things are going well for you Magnum smile
