I would try to do better animation explosion, someone help me where can I find files that match the explosion? Is it only in cohokum \ graphics \ textures \ General bomb_c0001-06 file, or are in another place dds files too?
whether the maximum number of animation files that can be six or more?what are the limitations?

I've never worked with the explosion animations, so I'm not really sure. And there are several types of explosions which not all use the same animations. But some of the textures involved seem to be:
CANNON_FLARE001
BOMB_C001
BOMB_C002
BOMB_C003
BOMB_C004
BOMB_C005
BOMB_C006
CRATER
DESTROYED_OPAQUE
GUN_FLARE001

I suggest you try placing some image files with those names plus .bmp in cohokum\graphics\textures\general and see where they turn up.




I'm not sure. But if you create some animations with more then we'll probably find a way of using the extra animations.

However, I think the explosions should be less fireball and more dust, smoke and debris, and generally things flying fast in all directions.

generally better explosions, better fire up and smoke, and it is everything, there is no sense in how to retain these files to each other,impossible to add debris and dust at this moment.
