The other day I started looking for acts that were big from 70-75 that I remembered seeing while living in Germany as a kid . . . this was one of the groups I remember hearing/seeing a lot
Not a big Barry Manilow fan (and I do listen to some sap).
However, his first big hit (I think) borders on [soft] progressive rock once it builds (in a Moody Blues meets ELP kinda way IMO, starting around 2:30)...
