I can try but it will not be easy. Mission length is already taken into consideration with an eye towards keeping it down.

I would like to see Neoqb fix time compression. Time compression in RoF is hosed - 8x is more like 1.5x. If 8x were really 8x then IMHO mission lenghts wouldn't be an issue.

I would appreciate what ever you might be able to do in this regard. Don't kill yourself over it though. wink I would hate for you to get burnt out doing all this goodness for the community!

I thought it was just me that was feeling it was still on the "slow" side for 8x TC... guess my old brain isn't as feeble as I thought! biggrin

It's a question of CPU. The better CPU you have the better time acceleration works.
With my old c2d it was 2x, 2,5x and 2,5x now with my i7 920 it's 2x, 4x, and 6x (with a lot more planes in the air than before)

Those who have trouble with time acceleration I suggest you set a maximum number of planes. The less planes you have the faster the time acceleration is.

4 days til the end of the war, then I'll download 4.4 wink

PAt, the war doesn't seem to end! It's the 18th and the Huns are still fighting!

Now that I have newspapers I'll find a nice Armistice declared papers ... oh, and stop assigning missions too.

Great! Can you have a look at the Vert Galant bug?

Is it possible to include the pilot roster in the briefing? It would add to the immersion IMO.

Quick question to anyone in the know. I just flew a mission I created a few days ago (finally had some time to do so) and we were doing an offensive sweep. Crossing no man's land two Albatros Vs attacked us. I ended up shooting both down and my leader either crashed or was shot down (I was too busy fighting to see what happened to him). I then saw a balloon nearby guarded by 4 more Albatros Vs and did a quick dive to destroy the balloon and head for home. I made it and had (finally!) a perfect landing, okay, bounced once but then landed just fine. I ended the mission and the game gave me credit for all my kills but said I crashed...?? So I exit out of the game to enter in the data and when I clicked on combat report it asked if I actually flew the mission!? Is this because it was listed as a defeat as I didn't complete the entire flight path/waypoints? Do I actually have to fly the entire route to be able to enter in data? What did I do wrong this time? Thanks for any info anyone can give!

Avatar, the application works totally separately from the game. You can enter what you want, it's ap to you. For example I never claim as many kills as I get on the debriefing screen. I only claim the ones I could have confirmed historically. Ddin't you delete the mission before trying to write a combat report?
