I did a reinstall of OFF3. I'm going to stick with the Original (Ver.1.0) because for some reason I have much better flight control of my plane then when I upgrade to the SuperPatch.

My question: Is there a file I can manually go into to fix (Ver.1.0) to prevent gun jams?

I can't remember if/when the option appeared. Sounds like you fly an easy FM option - these are tougher in later versions, which maybe why they are different, as they caused other problems IIRC.

Aircraft in WW1 had many problems and quirks, gyroscopic effects, torque effects, poor design, etc etc.. so the FMs of the craft will be variable in response, or have issues keeping it steady, that's part of the uniqueness of WW1 flying - dawn of air flight and all that .

Polovski, I might be wrong, but I thought the "No Gun Jam" option appeared in "Ver. 1.28." I installed every single patch that was posted. I think from day one I installed around 15 of them including hofixes up to the SuperPatch.

I'm sorry I didn't keep them all in a separate folder and not delete them. I don't suppose there is any method for obtaining any of the older patches? I don't play MP so it wouldn't be a poblem for me sticking with an older version of OFF.

Thanks for the info and advice. I checked the OFF Patch List, it looks like the "Gun Jam Option" was first available on March 7, 2009 Patch (Ver.1.26/1.27).

I've posted a request for it on the CA Forum. Thank you also for the suggestion. Hopefully, someone there still has the patch.

Ricnunes thanks for the thought but can you remove that file as soon as Trek has it please if not immediately.
I suggested a PRIVATE sending of the file only if someone had it.

We do not allow hosting of our files on other sites - as stated on our website. Also this then means if you do see any downloads anywhere else you know it's not official and could contain viruses etc.

Also Trek the gunjam fix ADDS gun jams onto the CFS3.exe (i.e. CFS3 does not have them normally). It does not add them into the Manager workshop menu.
Do not use this patch with OFF Phase 3 it has not been tested and may break things.

Now, please, honor and comply with Polovski's request. Remove your OFF download from the page. I certainly don't want to get you or anyone else in trouble here.

I didn't know that the "not allowing hosting of OFF files" rule also included the old files (patches). I was aware of that rule but for some reason I thought that it was only applied to the most recent files or patch (and not to old ones).

Anyway sorry for my post and for publicly hosting the requested patch.
