Hey all,

Thanks for letting me join this wonderful community full of useful information.

I recently found my old Janes Longbow 2 disc's (in a video cassette box surprisingly lol). However my system is now way different to what it used to be when I played that sim.

I have been trying all the compatibility modes with Windows 7 64 bit but I think it will be a no show. However I am not gonna give up just yet so was wondering if any of you have suggestions or ideas to bring it back to life?

Also I was wondering if someone could upload the DeTre utility (opens up .TRE files) as the site that hosts them has been down for ages.

Also where can I find the sound files for the game? SFX.tre ?

One final question, any idea who plays the music in the JLB2 intro.

Once again many thanks!

1) We haven't let you join yet. You have to pass a number of deeply complex aerobatical maneuvers and emergency procedures in LB2 before you get in. (just kidding) biggrin Welcome!
2) Don't give up! There is a good chance you can get it to go on your PC - but as my site is down I can't point you to the instructions. Try my Windows Vista/7 Fix (226 Mb) below (read the included instructions carefully):

3) Yes, the sounds are in the SFX.TRE file!
4) Well on the credits screen the music is by Joe Basquez, and Guitar is by Stretch Williams and Joe Basquez. Don't know if they did the intro too.
