I'm going to add this to the first page also, but to get a "place" in a class, you must finish. For example, say there are 4 people in P2, and only 1 of 4 finishes the race. There would be the P2 class winner but no 2nd, 3rd, 4th place.

Okay, what's wrong with this event?

Only 15 entered of which 2 are tentative.

Bad day for the rest of you or lack of interest? Or what?

Considering we had 24 for the last race with the same mod and it was only 8 minutes shorter in length, what happened?

Give me some feedback so I know how to plan the upcoming events.

I'm in, just still on the fence as far as the cars go. The P1/P2 are a lot of fun, but considering you can get quiet irrevocably stuck on this track at it's slowest turn (the one that's going to have all the carnage anyway) makes it hard to go that route. The P2's handle very well, but they don't have the acceleration or top end speed of the P1/GT1's, and they can get just as stuck as the P1's. The GT1's obviously can do well here due to the long straights and overall high speed, but I'm not a fan of how they handle (doesn't suite me well, not that there's something wrong with the physics). The GT2 car's a also a lot of fun, and don't have nearly the risk of getting stuck. They are however pretty uncompetitive in comparison to the other three classes.

I'd personally prefer a track that's got a lot more run off room, and where you can't get stuck from being bumped in a turn. Don't get me wrong I'm racing this Sunday, I just need to decide if being uncompetitive is worth not having to worry about wasting 2.39 hours of my day if I catch a curb wrong on the last lap. I think something like the Daytona LM course etc, with plenty of run off room and escape room for the mistakes that WILL happen would be better in the future. A whole lot of carnage is usually avoided by having room to get off track after a spin, or dodge a spin by going into the grass for a bit. There is none of that here, it's like Monaco, no where to go if something happens up front.

The GT2 cars only compete with themselves, as do the GT1 and Prototypes. That's the nature of multi-class racing. It's like 2, 3 or 4 races going on simultaneously.

If there was only one winner, we'd all be racing in P1, right? I mean, the GT1 cars are a good 8-10 sec/lap slower than the prototypes.

Nothing wrong with this one Doug, just bad timing for me. I would need to take a 5 minute or so pit-stop and pray the Dawn prayer halfway between the race which doesn't really motivate me to enter.

I think we might have another couple of ADC'ers coming along - still to confirm. Would have had more had it not been for other commitments + L2R 12Hrs injuries etc smile I posted on our forum a little late - I was a bit pre-occupied with Spa12Hrs, sorry.

I'm already working to drum up some interest for Le Mans though should it happen smile

Oh yes, almost forgot, I'll switch to LMP1 (one of our boys should be joining in a GT1 Aston)

Jon Clinton / #205 / LM-P1 / Acura ARX again please.

Just reading through the post, I've noticed you've not added No.6 to the line up on page 1.

Thanks Jon.

Hopefully we'll get 20 cars on the grid.
