Little typo there. You need to press CTRL+F5 (or you'll just open a search prompt).

In the first post in this thread it says

Q: My computer can't handle the missions. Performance is horrible.
A: open RofCampaign\Data\RofCampaign.config. Set the base flight parameter for your side to zero. This will reduce the number of friendly flights.
If it sill happens, reduce the enemy flights to 0. Increase opposition flight odds 100.
Improvements are coming int terms of performance options.

But when you open the campaign.config file, it has a note next to 'base flight' parameter saying "Do Not set to Zero".

Why the difference? Is it wise/Okay to use the Zero setting if Missions are lagging, likely because too many acft are being generated??

Pat, after opening "Top aces" you can not go back to the main.

You can, it's just that you have to get the button exactly otherwise you will just open the bottom ace file

The big button at the bottom of the Aces screen that says OK. Move the mouse cursor over it and it'll highlight itself.

It is a minor issue that could be solved by displaying only the top nine aces or repositioning the button itself.

That chalkboard has always been a bit odd in its display and I have yet to figure out exactly why. I will keep working it. In the meantime try changing the chalkboard font and font size in the config page.

Pat, I believe the problem stems from the fact that the OK Button on the Top Aces Chalk Board page has a very small "hot spot" in the lower right corner of the Button box. If you float the mouse pointer over the LRH corner so that the Light-Blue button border lights up, you will get back to the main "Create A Mission" screen. If you do not do this then the last ace, named on the same row as the OK button, will get his information page displayed. I think that by resizing the hot spot to match the OK button size we get the correct action...that should do the trick.
