It would be nice if you could include the Ni17 and the Fokker DVIIF. Especially the former one. Any chance for that?

Wow, Pat, I knew things could get dodgy when you go back in time to mess with the time-space continuum, so thanks for weaving open destinies for the aces.

RE Jasta 11 example: What would happen with the CO post if, say, ol' MvR just happened to have an untimely...accident? If the player had sufficient rank, would they then become CO?

How about squadrons that the player has risen to command/started campaign as CO, but were historically commanded by an ace after a certain date?

Rev: If the ace is dead he is no longer in command, therefore command could go to you. So if MvR meets his demise while you are with Jasta 11 you can take over. If you are not yet with J11 you could choose to transfer in as commander.

Reflected: My problem with the N17 and Alb D.III is that there is nothing else there for early 1917. If I had one British scout and a couple of two seaters I would set up early 1917 with just that, but without even a single Allied two seater it is tough to justify a campaign for that time period. I suppose I could have every French and British squadron flying N17s and using the late 1917 Breguet as a two seater, but that is more of a leap than I want to take.

However, once things start to get fleshed in I will absolutely back things up. I have the data, I just need the planes.

Really? That would make it a RoF bug that got fixed rather than a bug in the mission files that I create. I like it when I have to do less work smile.

Also the separate downloadable readme.txt contains some additional information.

Cheers

Note that the mission file bug is still in effect. That is in RoF code so there is nothing that I am aware of that I can do about it.

V3.0
New Features:
- Aces
- Aces will fly with their own unique aircraft if available
- Aces are assigned to correct squadrons.
- Aces victories are recorded in a historically accurate way
- Aces use top level AI
- View top aces during your campaign.
- You and your squadron mates can be included in the top aces list.
- Aces are subject to altered history
- Premature death
- Non historic victories

Bug Fixes:
- Exit completely when red X is used
- Add balloons to victory list

Didn't know it was released! This is good news!

I'll pick it up later tonight.

Thanks Patrick for all your hard work!

The no mission bug has been fixed and 3.1 has been shipped. Wait for the announcement. Many thanks to Viks for a quick response and a solution.
