How do you put LockOnFiles, skins, cockpits etc, onto
planes in the main menu of Lock on? How do you use LockOnFiles?

Most of the stuff uses Modman (which is a mod manager obviously smile ). Look for it there in the download section.

I have tried modman with a a10 green colour but the a10 was white in colour as a result.
My Modman has no effect on the f15 and other planes seen on the main menu.
I think there is a fault somewhere? Any ideas?

The camo (skin) a plane uses is chosen in the mission file and can only be edited in the mission editor. Unfortunately at this time you can only view the camo in game. So you have start the mission to see what has been selected.

See pg-96 of the "LOCKON_FC2_GUI_Manual_EN.pdf" in the X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Doc folder.

When you want to install a 3rd party skin (like from LockOnFiles) you must use Modman. When you install new camo's they will be available to select in the mission editor, as described in the manual above.

If you want to change the camo in the quickstart missions, you must open the mission in the mission editor, change camo and then save the mission.

The Quickstart missions are found in X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Missions\QuickStart
