I have installed Lockon 1.02 on Win7 64bits and to be honest the performance sucks.
I installed it expecting 60 frames but what I found was a very poor performance.
I was wondering if I can expect better frame rate on flaming cliffs 1.12.(I never tried it on vista or win7).

Bottom line is Flaming cliffs + highend PC + win7 64 = very nice performance?.
Or better I wait for the 2.0 version.

Wait for 2.0 is my suggestion especially if you haven't tried it yet. Definitely worth the wait especially if you have DCS Black Shark!

Well I downloaded the flaming cliffs 1.1 demo. It worked much better than the 1.02 lockon version but still on cities not as fluid as it should be for a 5 years old sim but good enough given that I am running at 1920x1080.

By the way I believe that flaming cliffs 2.0 is gonna be a payware patch over the original flaming cliffs so I see my self buying both.

Know that cities are FPS hogs in LOMAC as well as LOMAC was better suited in 2005 to run on the systems of today than yesterday. Flaming Cliffs 2.0 will be a pay ADD-ON, NOT a patch. It will be the complete Flaming Cliffs package updated to work with LOMAC and DCS Black Shark. You won't need to buy Flaming Cliffs in the meantime, just wait for FC2.0!

You will need LOMAC and FC for the FC2 addon. ED are looking at a combined FC+FC2 a few months down the line IIRC.
