Buddye1 is one of the primary contributors to the BOBII community. He is the helpful genious behind what is likely the most sophisticated AI programming in the prop sim community. He is hugely helpful in the A2A / BOBII community and has been very frank and supportive of the ROF community as it has developed.

Hate to see a post of his go unanswered...he posted below in the General Forum for ROF. Can someone smarter than me give him a hand?

"My old PC died. I got a new PC Spec's in my sig. My joy stick is not configured after I re-installed ROF and the newest update and I can fly only with the keyboard.

I had to manually configure the Joysick with the first ROF but everything has changed.

I have a CH fighter stick and peddles.

Can you guys help me get my joystick and peddles working.

All joystick etc settings are now in the game.
Start the game,pick a plane,hit fly,pause the game.Right click with the mouse,a 'spanner' icon will be in the left top corner,click on that.When you open the menu for controls,scroll down until you see (for example) 'yaw' double click on the box,move pedals.
Same for the other controls,double click on an empty box,assign,and save to your profile.
Sounds more compicated than it is.
Thats about the gist of it I think,but I could be a bit mistaken,as I do it now without thinking about it!

I'm having same issues with my saitek x52. I do not have this "input" drop down menu on settings on the startup/updat screen.

Start the game,when you are sat in the cockpit,pause,then assign controls.

Why I never double clicked I have no idea. Got some buttons saved, some seem to be stubborn(map)

If you need to do any mapping here are key commands that you can copy and past in your editor. You might have to verify a couple of the commands that may differ from the default ones in the game. Only a couple though.
