From what Fox news stated about NASCAR pushing for more aggressive driving to bolster sagging ratings and attendance I was not surprised by the announced penalty. Man, talk about a lowest common denominator! haha

And every one of the honks on Fox and Speed (NASCAR) TV thinks that's just peachy! Right up to the point where they send one into the stands and kill somebody. There were some minor injuries at Atlanta...Anybody see coverage on that?

Coulda got someone killed.

It was a retaliation for an earlier race-ruining incident. (Not a first for Kaselowski)

Strangely, I didn't find myself thinking too badly of Cousin Carl. Disappointed if anything. If it had been another driver, I probably would have felt differently. Edwards is a likeable guy. By the book, if there was a book, he probably deserved a suspension. It's not rare, but the intentional part of this incident was not good. (Hopefully somebody learns something from it.)
