Here is the convoy I had just picked up in my last SH5 screen thread.

It's kind of hard to make out due to resizing and compression but there are 5 shadows on the horizon and just the tips of some masts.

The victims, unaware that I am overhauling them just over the horizon

Overhaul completed I wait at periscope depth just off their track, there are 4 ships in the scope.

Patience.... A little longer then fire a spread of 3 torpedoes into the convoy

As David Hobbs would say, "KERBLAMMO"

One goes right under him, but he's still going under

The two misses from the spread shot find victims on the far side of the convy

In the shallows off the coast of England I leave a monument to my passing

These two kept going

Could maybe use a patch or something...

You sir, have failed.

One of the wounded struggles to keep up with the convoy. It's deck gun time.

Yes Hans, that is the moon

Low on fuel and weapons we return to port

Boy, the ability to model waves in a game like this has come a LOOOOOOOONG way since the last sub game I played (Silent Service 2, circa 1990). LOL!

The more I use the new interface, the more I like it. That resizeable minimap is fantastic, so much faster than the old interface even if it does look like an iSub app.

Cool images Jeevz. I'm with you, that new interface actually grows on you.
Another note, even with the somehow flaky internet here at times (the provider has been working furiously to fix that)not once have I lost connection to the UBI servers, and the game is kinda sweet (just 5-6 hours gameplay so far)

I'd love to get my hands on this one.

I just can't wrap my head around the DRM system. I only game on my laptop, but I do play games on it 90% of the time with range of my wireless...

Decisions decisions.

joe, I'd go so far as to say get it, if your connection is good then you should have no issues whatsoever.

Some more from some other attacks, one a daylight surface gun battle when I ran across an unescorted convoy of troopships and large merchants.
