Please could you tell me why nothing happens when i
try to download skins, cocpits, textures, about anything else
onto lockon, on the main menu planes?
The program is great and everthing works on the campaign
and mission editor.
Any ideas?

What version of Lockon do you have ??
That can also affect the different Mods, Textures etc.

In a similar post, he said he has 1.12b.

You need to check the files when you download them to make sure they are compatible with your version, not all are. Also, as suggested above, use Modman as the method of installing/uninstalling the skins/missions/whatever. It makes life a lot easier than poking around inside the dir yourself.

That said, I'm not sure if mods affect those 'quick link' plane flights on the main menu page. Not sure if many people use those once they get into this sim.

Do you use the skins, cockpit, terrain mods, with the Modman?
How do you use Modman with LockOnFiles with skins/mods etc?
