Yeah, I do hope the movie will restart their careers. I've recently bought "Kingdom of Heaven" (Director's cut) on Blu-ray, and noticed that Kevin McKidd had a minor role as "English Sergeant" (honestly never noticed it before). Ridley surely could have expanded that role a bit. "Kingdom of Heaven" is an outstanding movie and one where the extended version is FAR superior to the theatrical cut. Kevin McKidd did have a show on network tv called "Journeyman" which got a lot of good critical reviews but it didn't last that long.

Vorenus and Pullo, two of my favourite tv characters, brilliant news.
(If you want to see Kevin Mckidd in another film role, I recommend 'Dog Soldiers').

I think Ray Stevenson is underrated, I never liked McKidd in Rome, he always seemed distant but maybe that was his character as Vorenus. Stevenson was also pretty good in King Arthur, which is also a very watchable film. I rather liked the idea that the "knights" were Sarmatian conscripts fighting for Rome.

Heh, McKidd is 'Soap' MacTavish in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2".

Guys, please don't tell all these spoilers, I've only just gotten to episode 10 in season 1, watching it on bluray, it is really great and I'd appreciate if you use the spoiler function here in the forum.
BTW, "forum"... - Just another example of how Rome is still alive with us today, in modern culture.

You are so right Frey. We should not have mentioned the demise of Julius Caesar. I mean, that would be totally unexpected!

Hehe, good one But, I was more thinking about what I read here about Vorenus, which I tried to unremember later, when I watched episode 9 (The mobster showdown interrupted by Caesar). Damn' annoying to know what I read in the beginning of this thread, *sigh*... Anyway, if people don't care about spoilers I guess I should just stay away from any movie thread in here. Probably the best thing to do.

Sorry 'bout that, Frey... never thought about it, the series was already two years old when I first saw it.
