As for Julius Caesar, my guess is that the film will pick up where the show's finale left off so there will be no issue there. From the article, Series stars Kevin McKidd (Lucius Vorenus) and Ray Stevenson (Titus Pullo) will likely sign onto the movie, which picks up in Germany four years after the series ended. Caesar bridged the Rhine during his Gaul campaign, so the Romans already were in contact with Germanic tribes. If the writers and producers are the same, I'm sure they'll come up with a convincing story that is historically feasible. I'm looking forward to that movie. And who knows? I've recently bought "Kingdom of Heaven" (Director's cut) on Blu-ray, and noticed that Kevin McKidd had a minor role as "English Sergeant" (honestly never noticed it before).
