I have a TrackIR 4 using the latest (v5) software.

When I fly in RoF, my view slowly sinks down into the cockpit. This understandably happens more readily when I pull positive G, but the view doesn't return to the starting point. I'm personally not slumping down in my chair, so I have to very regularly re-centre the view. This doesn't seem right, I don't have the same problem with any other games that use 6DoF.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known bug or is their a fix for it?

Are you using the TrackClip, or the TrackClip Pro?

IS the 3 tracking points centered in the camera view?

Any other stray points, in the camera view (red/gray)?

I have mapped the ingame centered view command [Numpad 5] and my TrackIr profile´s center command on my North Coolie Hat position. The view position on Numpad 5 is saved with the F10 key.

Thus I can always recenter my view, if neccesary.

Windows 7 64bit.

Tracking points are centred.

No stray lights (room is fairly dark).

TrackIR works fab for me in IL2 and ArmaII. Only SoW gives me this lack of automatic recentering and the slow slide down into the cockpit.

It seems to be happening to a lot of people in RoF.The view sinks and stays there until you re center.

I had that happen back when I used TrackIR 1, turned out it was actually my mouse. If I were you I would cancel any view modifiers that use the mouse, especially if they are secondary options and see if that helps.
