How are the controls?

How do you access the view modes as the predator on the PC?

I played briefly as an Alien. VERY disorienting! I had NO idea what the heck I was doing. I kept instinctively pulling the trigger to attack when I needed to be pulling on the bumpers instead. I only had one kill and it was pure luck! LOL!

Just give me a pulse rifle and let me die like a man! LOL

If you guys wanna play tomorrow night I'll be more than happy to explain the combat system. I'll be home ~10 PM EST, so look for me on Steam. I've also got some video from last night, so maybe I'll post that as well.

Don't listen to the "controls are stupid!" kids. All you need is practice, just like everything else. You will need to spend some time learning the different controls for each race, because they behave differently, and each similar control will do something different depending on which race your playin'. In addition to the controls you'll need to learn how to attack/counter as it's a huge part of the combat system.


I customize my keys for everything, so I don't recall what the default keys were, but all of the controls are listed when you access Options\Control\Configure Controls\Customize Keyboard Controls\Predator.


Both the Alien and the Predator require different skills to become proficient. The Alien requires a basic natural instinct for tracking your prey in the dark and also requires a level of situational awareness while running along walls and ceilings. The biggest advantage as an Alien is that you can track a target through walls, which allows you to pre-plan an ambush when your prey least expects it!
