The pit is using my regular PC. So at the moment I'm having to shift the mouse, keyboard and monitor from my desk over to the pit when I want to fly. The only solution I've found is to buy a reverse KVM switch and a new monitor/keyboard/mouse. Is that what most people use? Anyone know how windows XP would behave if I plugged in a USB mouse and keyboard alongside my PS2 mouse and keyboard?

Cheers!

It works fine with two Keyboards I run two wireless sets of keyboards and mice (one of my PC/Home Theater set up the other stays in my pit). You shouldn't have any issues! Actually you can keep plugging in as many in as you want provided you have the inputs.

I like hiding the spare key/mouse and messing with them when my wife is on the PC! Great fun!

Nice! The wireless option sounds good.

Why isn't the monitor platform level? That looks like trouble.

As long as he clamps the base of the LCD screen to the screen platform, it should be no problem.
I am saying LCD, because a CRT on a 25mm pipe construction is really cutting it thin.

I made a slight error when i built the frame work. the cross bar over the knees was a bit low. so i had to mount the monitor platform on top of the T connector. The angle isn't as extreme as it looks. It seems to angle the screen back at me quite nicely.

I'm using a1280x1024 lcd, but the frame is actually quite sturdy, I'm confident it would take a CRT, it carries my weight fine.

Thanks again for the info about extra input devices. I got a wireless keyboard and mouse set and they're working great.

Cheers
