I have YAP2 working under Vista. Does anyone know if YAP2 will work under Windows 7 ?

Mike963,

I figure it should not be too long before we find out if it does.

I don't care. I still have my P4, 3.4, with Windows XP3!

I have it on Vista 64-bit, something not even God intended to be.

If it'll run flawlessly on that, it has GOT to work on Windows 7.

Kidding. I don't know. I'm half tempted to pick it up at Fry's tomorrow just to find out.

I ran WoV and WoE (the old ones not optimized for Vista) on 64-bit Windows 7 RC1 without any problems. YMMV.

Thanks for sharing your indifference. I have XP pro sp3, but with a i7-860. It amazes me how Win7 seems to be getting favorable comments from people who didn't care for WinVista when 7 is just Vista with a few tweaks and a little superficial veneer added. I think that MS might be getting away with a "fast one" with Win7.

This was taking the same steps to eliminate the CTD's upon using the ESC key as with Vista?

Really? So Original WOV + YAP2 should work on Windows 7 64-bit? I'm asking 'cause I just got a computer with enough processing power to run YAP2 at full throttle... but it's running Windows 7 64-bit.

Follow-on question for the YAP2 team: Any plans to offer YAP for SF2V? Thanks!
