I just saw this on another board that I don't visit very often but it seems like a cool idea. List *your* top ten games of all time.

1 - Kings Quest - This game was the one that really got me into gaming
2 - Diablo - I played this game to death
3 - F 19 Stealth Fighter - My very first flight sim
4 - X Com - Still one of my favorite games of all time
5 - Master of Orion - Another game I played for a long time.
6 - EverQuest - Changed gaming forever with MMO's
7 - Doom - Chainsaw goodness
8 - Wolfenstein - First FPS that really changed gaming forever
9 - LOMAC - Years ahead of it's time
10 - Mechwarrior 2 - Another game that I played to death

It was really tough to pick ten games for me. Quite a few of those are Microprose who I think was one of the best gaming houses ever.

#1: Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

Chromehounds (ALL GAMES can learn from CH's garage and persistent war)
Americas Army Rise of a Soldier (best shooter online MP set up)
Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike
Rainbow Six 3 & BA
Madden NFL ~1994
Battlestations Pacific
Race Pro (ultimate racer for me)
EndWar
Mechwarrior 2 (I hope these games aren't dead forever, the sim that CH should have been)
Over G Fighters (flight sim on console, most of my favorite planes, great missions)
IL2 BOP / WOP (What I've been waiting for in WWII sim)

Those others are all tied for 2nd. wink

Also in no particular order:

1. Strike Commander
2. Janes Longbow
3. Janes F-15 Strike Eagle
4. Janes WWII Fighters
5. Janes F/A-18

(hmmmmmmm, how'd all those those Janes games get in there?)

6. F4/F4 AF
7. EECH
8. Half Life 2
9. rFactor
10. LOMAC

Do you detect a bit of bias towards flight sims?

This list is more historical than current, mainly because I haven't even played 10 games in the last 3 years.

EF2000
X-Plane
Jagged Alliance 2 (1.13)
F-22 TAW
Frontier: Elite II
Chrono Trigger
LHX
Janes Fighters Anthology
Warbirds
rFactor

Crap, that was actually harder than I thought it would be.

It was tough for me too because there were a few other games that I had a hard time leaving off the list. Wing Commander, Privateer, SW Knights of the old Republic, Baldur's Gate, etc.

Let's not forget the original Leisure Suit Larry. How about Pong?
