I'm struggling with the demo for RoF! Only got a few hours left before it expires, then more angry emails to Direct2Drive asking why the heck they're not processing my order...

When I change to an external view and then back to cockpit, occasionally the camera will lock onto the tailplane. Using the hatswitch, numpad5 etc will move the camera normally but as soon as the camera stops moving from my input, it turns right back to the tailplane again. Generally this means I stop fighting while trying to figure out what key resets this, then I crash into Reims Cathedral. Very frustrating!

I'm using an X52, no TrackIR.

Known bug. Adjusting your zoom during pause causes the camera to go haywire.

I've seen this repeatedly while I have the game paused and I'm adjusting the views for screenshot purposes. It's a major hassle. It does eventually come right if you hammer with the view keys - but I've no idea what it is that corrects it.

I don't either, I usually just exit out. I've found that just saving a replay so I can screen shots later works better for me. I know this is supposed to be fixed in the next version.

I've had this problem too.

When the camera locks in that view over the tail, I recall I was able to recentre using the mouse. The view keys did not cure themselves, though.

Glad to hear there is a fix planned.
