Just loaded FFOW ater reading Beach's review in the budget title department, I must say I am having fun with it, it has the look of GRAW to me and play similay to COD-MW but with a little more freedom to move around. It runs great on my system even maxed out and looks fantastic. Don't know how it whe unnoticed but at $7.95 from Amazon you can't beat it.

Initially it was buggy. With the patches it ran great for me.

Not the best game, but for the price it is pretty good.

Under extras, type these in for the codes:
sp-street
sp-village

Unlocks new single player missions. I will try them out myself tomorrow.

I agree - for only $7 it's an ok game. If some things were fixed/improved I think Frontlines would be more than just ok, but it's clearly targetting a run-and-gun FPS crowd. The extra SP missions are ok....just more of the same really.

I'm a reasonable guy, but I've just experienced some very unreasonable things...

Just finished the extra missions. Both are much harder than those in the campaign. I'd give them a try after you finish the campaign.

if it wasn't for the crappy performance on my system I would better recommend it. But for some reason on some levels performance was terrible, even tho any other games run pretty smooth (even Arma2). Also animations seemed to be cut in half for more distant objects like AI and fire/smoke (making it harder to shoot AI at longer ranges), textures not loading properly, and pop-ups. Also saw a lot of AI spawning out of thin air when a certain trigger is set off.

But ya for $7 it's not all bad and it only crashed once during the whole campaign; and the RC vehicles are an awesome idea!

Performance was great for me. Must have been a stable 40-50 through the whole game.

I have an AMD 9950, GTX 260, 4GB RAM and Vista 64bit.

Just make sure you have all the patches.
