Awesome Moses! Remember it get's harder the more you lose as the weight loss is not as rapid and it might be discouraging. If you plateau just work out harder and harder. Dieting alone doesn't do it, you need that exercise. And when you exercise set goals for that too i.e. run a certain distance in a certain time or work the stair-stepper for so long on a certain setting. The more you push your body in the gym the better off you'll be. Some people just do some cardio and starve themselves, thats not the way to do it.

I had a friend who was 6ft 4in and 350 get down to 190 through hard exercise and a better diet. No soda, no fast food and lower carbs.

You're gonna be a whole new man.

Not sure if this will interest you, but when you crack 300 I'll send you ROF and ALL the add-ons planes if you want as some incentive. That's like a million dollar value! LOL. :-)

Seriously though, great job so far. Just don't ever stop.

Jason

This thread is awesome. Fantastic work, Moses.

A few years ago I'd reached 224 pounds which felt very uncomfortable to me and affected a bunch of different aspects of my life. After eating sensibly and starting a fairly basic exercise routine, got down to my broadly ideal weight of 182 pounds. I could still do with losing anoth 10-15 pounds, but it's those last few that are hardest to shed. If you're heavily overweight, a simple change of diet and adoption of a light exercise regime will show big results in a short space of time (as you're already seeing).

Anyway, you're doing an awesome job. Keep going at it and keep us all informed.

Keep going Moses. Don't let an achey knee or back stop you. Keep finding ways to burn calories. If you're in pain go to the dock and find a way to manage it, but keep exercising.
