Thanks MM! Was bit aprehensive, you allready did this and it is a great skin to, was just that Gary asked to make this for him. And who does not want to try their hands at one of the ace of aces.

As for weathering, I like them looking well used now that I know how to do it, but might have gone over the top? One gets blind from staring at it, hur hur. Might go over J5 skins again, make em muddy.



WWBrian, I would give em to Neoqb if they would want to. I know skins are problem atm, but what I want to see is organised campigns historical or just like ones in Rb3d, but useing all the extra possibilties in RoF. For this to be just right I want to have evryone in their own skin, so J5 really looks like J5, some genreric needed offcourse but imagin J5 dva charging in in full colors, 56th or all of the J99, WW and so on. I mean I like historic but just to be able to recognise someone from their skin would be lovely.

Your skins are terrific, however I might just suggest that the weathering was bit over the top. Just a suggestion. I could hardly do 1/100th as well.

Like I said before. Anyone can do whatever they want with my skins. I have no problem with it. Especialy when they look better. You don't even have to ask. Just so my name comes up.
The only skinning I've been doing is some personal requests. I did come up with this one for myself. Thought I would play with the Camel a bit more. I did a black nose and used this jolly roger on an SE5 so I came up with this. I kinda like it.
Maybe I'll upload it. It is not historical so it is what it is. Rrrr..

Well I sure hope there be some way soon that does not kill mem to see personal skins. SST should be implemented ingame some way, with options for historical/non historical. Would love to see what all gents fly, I am not complete historical nut although would love historical only that to for historical touneys. For just a bit of multiplay would be so nice to see other skins than standard ones. Would love it to much.

That makes me wonder. How many non-historicals have you done for yourself or others and maybe just for fun?
All my own paints for myself were just for fun. You have seen most of them already and it surprises me how many of my personal ones are in the top downloads.
Goes to show that most of us just love to fly anything. It's a pretty game with pretty planes.
I like history and the "real ones", but you got to like em all. Fun Factor.

I don't kow how I dreamed this one up but it's cool! Makes it look fast! LOL!
