Update:
a new approach to city building.

Advantages:
city shapes no longer dictated by a few border tiles which allways look the same from any direction
allows random tiling in and around the city
allows other nature insets anywhere in the city
1 tile cities or anyother number, can use any combination of the available drawings
inner city and borders can use all the assigned city tiles in any location (5 without village tiles or 8 with)
much less pattern forming then the default approach
each available tile can function as a seperate village tile throughout the eaw world
shapes are independent of transitional tiles and can take on any form
can be used without having to change tilemaps or borders but more effective with changed tilemaps
can also be used on other natures (islands, forrests, grass plains etc.)
all in all a much more diverse and an overal more natural look then cities with only one single inner city tile and a few border transitions
Disadvantages:
field transitions allways there and tiling seems a bit more obvious but also depends on how the tiles are created and arranged
Mind you this is just a trial set to explore the new possibillaties and cure any disadvantages of the approach.
