Hmmmm, these are unusual words coming from a gopher wink

biggrin (Consider it a fatal attraction of sorts)

I've always been pretty partial to birds of prey in general as well. I remember a long time ago when I was still in infants school, they had an "owl day" where they invited some peeps from one of the zoos or aviaries who brought in a pair of owls; I believe one was a tawny and the other was *probably* a barn owl (it could have been a snowy, but given their range I think that's just my memory pulling one over on me). There's something quite cool about having a juvenile barn owl standing on your arm.

Great photos. I too have a fascination for birds of prey. We used to have a nesting pair of Great Horned Owls in the neighborhood, but I haven't seen them in a couple years. Still have the Harris Hawks though.

those are great pics, I also love seeing Birds of Prey. We saw an owl on some power lines last year when I was with the boys and was able to pull right up next to it and show them. Only seen one other one out in nature and it was huge!
