I just bought the Thirdwire Israel 2 and it is really terrific. I can't seem to remember what keystroke will give you the FRAPS on the screen. Am I confusing this with LOMAC? Seems to me that there was a keystroke for framerates. Secondly, with the other thirdwire series (Strategy First, WOV and WOE), when I locked on a target I could hit the F8 or F9 keys and the yellow target box would get a red box around it thereby giving me some idea of the range to target. I could also "see" the target. In the Israel options, it lists the F8 key as the right key to "see" the target from the player's perspective. Nothing happens when I hit that key after I select that target in radar. There has to be the red targeting square on it to "see" the target yet I can't seem to figure out how to get that red targeting square on the target when the target is far away. Any suggestions for these two issues???

FRAPS issue resolved. It's ALT D for that. Now on to second issue.

Is there a way to re arm and/or re fuel in this game?

I don't know about that, I just got it too.

Having said that, the map seems to be smaller in game than in real life to make up for it. I can usually go without drop tanks and still make it back with fuel.

Air to ground weapons I always have more than enough, that is unless you intend to hit every single AA site, which would mean you'll probably die anyway

Air to air, being pretty unreliable can run out.. and the cannon ammunition also runs out pretty quick. Just have to play careful and only fire on a sure shot.

There is a way, but you have to edit the controls.ini file yourself.

It's pretty simple, I just don't remember which commands to put in at the moment.
