I have been trying to get Redbaron 3D to run but no luck. I am using DGVoodoo V1.5b glide wrapper but I still get alot of stutter and the load menus are all corrupted. Just as a side not the DGVooodoo wrapper seems to work flawlessly with Longbow2 in Windows7 64bit.

My system
AMD 6000+ (Dual Core)
NVIDIA Geforce 280GTX latest drivers (191.07)
4gb ram
Soundblaster Audigy2 sound card

Anyone else try running Red Baron 3d on Windows 7 64 bit ?

Could you try the dgvoodoo 1.50 beta TWO? With special RB settings that you can find at Gremlin's site:

I'll try it too tonight, i do have a Win 64 install.

Cheers,

Just to confirm that Red Baron 3D (stock, patch 1078) with OTE terrain + dgvoodoo 1.50beta2 (with above settings) + Reload 1.166 works mighty fine on Win 64.

I was able to get it to run on Win7 64 but the fps was unplayable in glide. I probably could have invested some time to get that figured out but I didn't because I could not get the MSff2 profile software to work. I tryed other sticks but for RB the MSff2 is the only one I like.

I'm able to boot in either Win7 or WinXP so I just go to WinXP if I get the bug to play it.

The latest patch for RoF is very good and the next promises to be even better so when I want WWI RoF is where I'll be.

RoF is no walk in the park either. For me and others the latest patch causes freezing type stutter in some missions. I just tried to fly the new DR1 and it froze up and went nowhere. The developer has been working out the bugs since release and it just has not matured yet. So as it turns out neither sim works very well on Windows7 x64, at least for me.
