I just got done turning a few laps at the High Speed Ring in the Porsche. Wow. I found it quite an enjoyable experience. It's a relatively simple track to learn, but there are some nice areas where fast drivers can make up time. This track is a good pick for these cars.

If you haven't been driving in the Fun Series for awhile, I would encourage you to try this car/track out. This mod and track will offer great racing without being distracted by fighting with the car to go fast.

Thanks for the links. I couldn't find the cars or the track on the website.

It was fun racing with you guys tonight. It was a pretty good turn out. This track/car is a good combination for close racing.....too close at times.

Hopefully we can get a decent turnout for Saturday.

That was some good fun last night. When we were racing four close the second race I think for a couple laps it was crazy. I was behind LC on the straight and I tried to push him, but these cars don't act like Nascars, so he went sideways instead of forwards, so sorry about that.

Good turnout Saturday with 9+ drivers.

For the coming week we will be staying with the Porsche 2007 mod.
The track will be ORSM Bathhurst v1.1 (by popular request).

Download it here:

SimHQ Motorsports 2 is running now.

That was some fun racing last night. I've not run the 'Fun Series' before and i didn't realise that the Saturday event was at such a convenient time for me. I should be able to make a few more of these in the future.

It was an interesting track/car combo that made for some, at times, 'rough' driving - but I think a lot of that was down to the track. A few corners just required you to hurl the car in and sort it out when you get there - interesting when there are 8 other drivers doing the same thing at the same time smile

Messed up the last race - forgot to increase my fuel fill preset - then switched my limiter on too early in the pit entrance - then got a drive through - then ran out of fuel and came to a stop quite literally exactly on my pit box. By then I was laps down and ought to be doing something else smile

See you at Bathurst. I'll try and drag some others along wink

Bathurst! Oh how I would like to race... but I have a state championship HS football game to go to. Nuts.

That was some fun racing tonight. There was a lot of beating and banging....mostly me on the walls at the top of the mountain. I generally had some so-so races, but I had an exciting finish in one...Alex and I were battling right up until the finish line. He beat me by 0.064 seconds. By rights, he should have finished much sooner, but appeared to have some problems which allowed me to close up.

I got some of friends to watch the live stream as we were racing. They got a kick out of it.

Fun racing in the fun series. Maybe Saturday there will be more than 6 drivers.

I am loading up four of the races on the front page to select for on-demand viewing. Still testing and seeing what will work with this new toy.
