Hello,

Pardon if this is old news and I've just overlooked it.

When I fly the Russian Roulette mission my aftermarket planes (Pfalz D.IIIa, SE5a, Nieuport 17) never appear. Can they be made to do so and, if yes, how?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Jim,

Editing the planes is a quick matter when using the ME. If you have the sample RR mission, open it using the ME. Essentially, all that needs to be changed is the "model type" within the properties of the aircraft you want to change. When done, be sure to save it as a different Mission Name (within mission properties) and filename.

Alternatively, if you describe for me the rotation of planes you'd like to see, I'm willing to spend a bit of time and generate it for you.

Hope this helps!
Gus

Hey, Gus, awfully kind of you to offer! If you've the time, I'll take you up on it. I don't care about the rotation at all. I just would like to see them all pop up before they start over again with the first plane.

I'll do so the first opportunity I have when I get home and post it in this thread. I estimate about 4 hours from now.

Hmm, I guess it'd be nice to know which aircraft you'd like to fly. Any preference?

Here's a pack of new RR missions that (individually) will allow you to start with any of the available flyable aircraft and a different rotation. I also threw in a change of scenery wink

You'll want to extract these in your Rise of Flight\data\missions folder, but for organization sake, I recommend that you extract into a folder of your choice, something like:
Rise of Flight\data\missions\Russian Roulette Missions

Enjoy!

Hello,

I mostly fly the Albatros D.Va. I dabble with the N.28 and SPAD, too, but 90% of the time I'm in the Albatros.

Oh, man, you beat me to the post! Great! I'll grab these and fire them up in a few hours. I'll report back.

Thank you for this.

Well, now you have them all wink

You're welcome! Let me know if you see anything broken, but I tested up through the first 4 encounters. Should be fine.

Just a quick FYI. Only had a chance to fire it up once and worked fine. Flew an SE5a and a Pfalz D.IIIa was all over me like white on rice! "Ace" indeed! Better get back in my Alb and roll up my sleeves...
