Well, IMHO there's only two big ones worth delving into - OFF and RoF, which is a really good thing, as they are complimentary of each other.

RoF is sort of like Apollo 13; the machine is the thing, and the story is always in context of the maths going on. The men are there to get the spacecraft home.

OFF is The Right Stuff, given to the stories of the men that made it happen. The machines are there to get the men into space.

An imperfect analogy, of course; the machines in RoF work as expected.

Or, alternately, the absolute crappiness if they adopted only each other's shortcomings!

Probably one of the best analogies I've yet seen regarding the two sims.

It will be interesting to see how both sims look two or three years from now. The screenies from OFF's next addon almost make me want to reload the game.

What is unusual is Neoqb built a WW1 flight sim with no hitherto knowledge at all of the Great War. I hasten to add boyo there's nothing wrong with that. And dedicated they are. However, passionate and knowledgable about WW1 history they are not. Perhaps that makes their contribution to WW1 flight simming more startling ! But their ignorance of WW1 shows through often enough. But it's a start boyo and they're really doing rather well.

Disclaimer: Thomas never wrote that. And what the hell is a muse ?
