I Mainly run sims and first person shooters along with email and surfing the net, so before I upgrade
Ill wait to see a significnt boost in performance I abhore slight increases in performance(video cards amnufacturers)are notorious for this game, I prefer to be more careful with my dollars for computing so 64bit seemed to promise a boost virtually with out costs but the replies Ive gotten have have shown me the light(no such thing as a free lunch)Thanx for the insight.

One more thing I forgot to mention, Skip. If you are 'security' oriented, 'Sandboxie' only runs on 32 bit computers. At least as my latest info Tzur has not overcome the kernal issues to do 64 bit systems. My wife is using my 'old' 32 bit VISTA computer, where the steady stream of 'cute-sy' E-Mails and Web-Page links between her and her pals left me shaking until I put SB in it! *I* must utilize more awkward security methods....

May be worth to make a separate thread about that. For me, Win7 is ten times better than Vista in actual practical use, both corporate and private. But I'd be curious to hear more from your side.
