Apparently a small boy remembered incredibly accurate details of "his" life as a WWII fighter pilot, including accurate details of "his" death and the type aircraft he flew.

Sounds potentially at least mildly interesting, if a bit out there.

I have not read the book but was interested in the video. I would like to believe in the life we may have led before the present one and this is one of many cases of people with similar experiences.

It would seem a waste of energy to have all the things we have learned in the present put in the ground or burned at the end of our current tour of duty.

Nothing should go to waste, all the material stuff gets recycled as it should be. Hopefully the ethereal matter is treated in a similar manner. See you later...

Well, Hank, according to "Mister Matter and Energy" himself, Albert Einstein, there is a set amount of matter and a set amount of energy in the universe and the amount stays fixed - i.e. you can't get rid of any matter or any energy, you can only convert matter into energy and energy into matter. Hence E=mc˛

Ergo, death, if Einstein is right, is impossible. Only a change, the other end of which we cannot see, is possible. What looks like death from this side in all likelihood looks like birth when seen from the other side of it. And since the mind is matter, indwelt by energy, I do not believe that all our learning, experience and talent goes for nought, but that it is preserved somehow, and retained by us in whatever is our next life.

Heh. Someone forgot to drink from Lethe before paying Charon.

I'm planning to take a complete bath, gargle, brush my teeth, wash my hair, shave, have tea, and undergo colonic irrigation with the waters of Lethe, as well as guzzling a few gallons, when this tour is over.

Aside from my horsemanship, guitar playing, friends, and especially my wife and kids, I'd just as soon forget all my cares from this time around before Assault Coxswain Charon fires up the 454 w/Berkley jet drive support craft and rams me headfirst into another mission, LOL!

Heh. I know how you feel. There are a lot of things, especially from my youth, that I'd rather forget. Life is pretty good now, but it still isn't easy.

Oh my, that had my hair standing on end! And from a 2-year old boy?! No way he could have read about it or watched it, could he?

Anybody know how old this boy is by now?
